Born into a Kashmiri refugee family the green eye beauty was spotted by ace cinematographer Ravi Varman. She was later noticed by legendary cinematographer director Santosh Sivan in his pictures who Then launched her in his Indo-American film Moha. The film was opened at the Rotterdam IFFR festival and was highly appreciated for its artistic notions. She played the central role and gathered a lot of foreign media attention. She was also addressed as the epitome of beauty and her performance was penned as the highlight of the movie. Shaylea is the face of Madhya Pradesh tourism since 2022. She will also be seen in a show produced by academy-winning director Asif Kapadia. She is making her directorial debut with the untitled film set to be launched by global Netflix.
