Michael D. Xavier
Michael Xavier was born in Liverpool and trained in acting at Manchester Metropolitan University. Since then he has played leads in over twenty West End musicals receiving two Olivier Award nominations for roles as The Wolf/ Cinderella's Prince in "Into the Woods" and Oliver in "Love Story", and winning a Broadway World Award for his performance as Joe Gillis in "Sunset Boulevard" opposite Glenn Close in London and on Broadway. He played George of Clarence and Suffolk in Trevor Nunn's production of Shakespeare's "The War of the Roses" and has made several recordings for BBC Radio. On film his work includes the powerful "Never Let Go", the quirky comedy "Gnomeland" and appearing with the Muppets in "Muppets: Most Wanted"
Michael divides his time between New York and London, where he runs Musical Theatre Masterclass, a weekly Musical Theatre training school for young performers He is an ambassador for Action for M.E and Variety Children's Charity.
