Sharing his November 27th birthday with Bruce Lee and Jimi Hendrix, Kenny Alfonso was raised on baseball fields in Tampa, FL following a funny father and his brother Darren around while learning to hit the curveball. In 1989 and after 4 years of college baseball, the Austin Peay graduate became a father to daughter, Jessy Alfonso who is also in the business as a Casting Assistant. Kenny then spent 2 years in Law enforcement as an Investigator for Tampa's State Attorney's Office, sold Life Insurance and Securities for a year and then over 3 years as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep. In Feb of 1994, he was transferred to Atlanta to sell the legal drugs in the pre-Olympic city. That same year and on a whim, the 27 year old pursued a childhood dream and began taking acting and improv classes. With early success on stage, in commercials and indie films in yes, Atlanta, he threw a curveball of his own and suddenly left Big Pharma in 1995 and became a full-time actor/comic/waiter. Fast forward a couple of decades and the veteran performer is a regular on film and TV and continues to write and perform sketch comedy with his partner since 1999, actress Melissa Ponzio, (Chicago Fire, Teen Wolf, Walking Dead) who he admits is much funnier.
